Commissioned Art Contract
The Parties and Agreement:
The Artist: Jenny King, a professional artist who specialized in mixed media, oils, acrylics.
The Client: The party who desires to commission the Artist to create a work of art in the Artist's unique style.
The Artwork:
The Client is commissioning a Mixed Media or Oil Painting created by Artist.
The parameters, including size, have been agreed upon by Client and Artist.
This work will be unframed.
The Client is aware and confirms acceptance of style of Artist.
The client accepts the artwork will be unique and therefore subject to reasonable variation due to the creative process.
The Artist and Client have agreed on a general timeframe in which artwork will be completed and delivered.
The Client understands and agrees that due to the nature of the creative process and the variables, including drying times of media, that the artwork may not be completed and delivered within the agreed upon timeframe.
The Artist will make every reasonable effort to ensure artwork is completed and delivered within the agreed upon timeframe.
If an extension of time frame is necessary for completion and delivery of artwork, in no way does it impact the agreed upon price.
The Client understands and agrees that if Client is dissatisfied with completed and delivered art, that art is subjective and is final as-is, no refund will be given.
The Artist will make all reasonable efforts to ensure Client's satisfaction with completed and delivered art.
Once Client and Artist exchange final payment and completed art, Client accepts all responsibility for the art.
Once sale is complete, Artist is no longer responsible for any damage, liability, or insuring of art.

Payment Arrangement:
The payment amount for this commission has been agreed upon by Artist and Client.
The agreed upon price is reflective of the current market value of Artist’s work.
Artwork is not subject to discount under any circumstances.
Monies are in United States Dollars (USD).

Payment Schedule:
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the selling price is required prior to any commencement of work, including travel to location.
Payment is due in full upon receipt of artwork(s).
Copyright:
Artist reserves all copyrights to all works commissioned by Client that are created by Artist, including all reproduction rights.
No work may be reproduced by Client without the prior written approval of Artist.
