Jenny Lathem was born in Atlanta in 1959 and started drawing portraits at the age of eleven. While attending the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, she won many awards and had her work selected for the school's permanent collection. Since graduating, she has made her living as a portrait artist. Jenny pays close attention to her subject in order to achieve a likeness and expression that is distinctly characteristic of the individual. Her warm and lifelike portraits hang in homes all across America and abroad.
